Samrina Mapara
Samrina is a facilitator at The Holistic Academy, devoted to
creating safe, nurturing spaces for self-discovery, healing, and
growth. Through creative and holistic practices, she supports
individuals in reconnecting with their inner wisdom, resilience, and
untapped potential.
Her journey into holistic work began with Sand Play Therapy at The
Holistic Academy, where she personally experienced the profound
impact of creative expression as a pathway to healing. This
transformative encounter became the foundation of the work she
now shares with others.
For over two decades, Samrina lived as an expat spouse, moving
across six countries while supporting her husband’s corporate
career and raising her family. While these years were rich with
experience, a deep inner shift occurred when her older children
left home. Entering the chapter of partial empty nesting brought
grief, loneliness, and eventually depression and autoimmunity.
While medical support played an important role in her recovery, it
was Holistic Art Therapy that helped her restore balance,
emotional strength, and a sense of wholeness. Today, Samrina
draws from her lived experience to guide others through grief and
life transitions. With compassion and presence, she holds spaces
where creativity becomes a source of healing, and new
possibilities can gently unfold with hope and renewal.
